Matt Brown, LEED AP

Project Manager

Matt has been with Bechtel Frank Erickson Architects since 2006, beginning as an intern and becoming a full-time hire after receiving his Master of Architecture degree from Northeastern University. His commitment to environmentally responsible design drove him to become certified as an Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program in order to better serve clients who are interested in pursuing a path of sustainable building practices.

Matt has always taken a special interest in multi-family housing and institutional/religious architecture, as he loves using design and space planning to make a positive impact on people’s lives in both public and more intimate settings. Some of Matt’s favorite past projects include the MIT-Lincoln Laboratory main dining facility, Temple Beth Avodah Master Plan and Addition, and Evans Park at Newton Corner Assisted Living and Memory Care Residence.

When Matt isn’t at work, he enjoys playing with his kids, working on his house, and passionately rooting for all Boston sports teams. He has always loved drawing and building as a kid, and that interest has grown into an extensive (and expensive) LEGO collection. Matt lives in North Reading and loves spending time down the Cape during the summer.
