Lauren Mitchell, AIA

Project Manager

Lauren joined Bechtel Frank Erickson Architects in 2018, initially joining as a Co-op student and transitioning into a full-time roll upon completing her graduate studies at Northeastern University, where she earned a Master of Architecture in 2019. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Montreal, Canada which she completed in 2015. Lauren is a Registered Architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).


Specializing in residential and multi-family housing, Lauren has worked on a diverse range of projects. Her portfolio spans from single-family additions and renovations to multi-family new construction. She has a specific interest in renovations and alterations to historic homes, having worked on numerous projects in and around Lexington. Lauren enjoys navigating the balance between modernizing historic residences to suit the needs of contemporary families while preserving their unique aesthetics and rich history.


When not in the office, Lauren enjoys exploring the abundance of natural resources that the region offers, either rock climbing, hiking, or skiing.
