Benchmark senior living provides a continuum of care level within the Edgehill community which enables the residents to age in place in a gracious and comfortable environment. Benchmark called upon BFE to design new additions for the projects independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing residential split. New common space, sitting, and activity areas, a new spa suite with lobby reception, salon, exercise and treatment rooms, new massage, occupational and physical therapy spaces. the locker room and indoor swimming pool spaces were upgraded. New landscaped areas were designed around the additions, while a verdant roof garden was created atop the new ten-unit assisted living wing. A new main entrance was built with a spacious porte-cochere to create a new sense of identity for the facility. NIne new independent living residences were built in two of the additions. These have a high level of finish on the interior and exterior wood shingle cladding and peaked roofs to fit seamlessly into the existing community.
