Jesse Widtfeldt, LEED AP

Jesse has been with BFE since 2006. During that time he has worked on numerous projects of varying types, focusing mainly on Multifamily/Assisted Living, commercial, and residential. Jesse is currently serving as project manager for a ground-up memory care facility in Newton center and the conversion of an existing home to an orthodontist office in bustling Davis Square, Somerville. He has also been part of the BFE team on projects such as: The Learning Commons and Lower School for The Carroll School in Lincoln and Waltham, a LEED Platinum assisted living residence in Bedford, NH and the conversion of several wings of the Museum of Our National Heritage in Lexington, MA into offices and meeting rooms for the Supreme Council, 33 A.A. Scottish Rite of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
Jesse is committed to environmentally responsible design and is accredited as a LEED Advanced Professional (AP) in order to better serve clients who are interested in pursuing a path of sustainable building practices. His designs explore the relationship between a building and its site.
Eager to understand all aspects of the building profession, Mr. Widtfeldt recently put his construction knowledge to the test by renovating his own multi-family home in Somerville and converting it to condos.
He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, including a year abroad in Florence, Italy where he studied architectural history and design. Outside of the office, Jesse's life is "all about the "dad" thing these days." He loves designing buildings for the urban environment during the week and spending his weekends in the natural environment as much as possible.
