Built in 1976, St. Stephen’s Tower located in Lynn, Massachusetts, is a 130 apartment community for active seniors 62 years of age and older. St. Stephen's includes studios and one and two bedroom apartments. This community boasts an extensive managed-care program in collaboration with Greater Lynn Senior Services which provides homecare, adult foster care, meals on wheels and extended hours of service. St. Stephen’s offers an array of services to its residences including life-line services and adult educational programs. Amenities include a common laundry site, two community rooms, high-speed internet access, on-site professional management and maintenance, as well as assigned parking. The project consists of renovation to all of the building's common areas: corridors, lounges, and a reconfigured community room. New kitchens will be installed and new handicap accessible units provided to meet current ADA requirements. Some program additions include a computer center and wellness center complete with exercise room. Upon review of the existing building skin, It was deemed essential to replace window and brick cladding failure to the skin was the evidence.
