Joshua A. Engel

Josh joined Bechtel Frank Erickson Architects in 2016. Josh has worked on various commercial projects, multi-family housing, and single-family homes from concept to completion. With ambitions of enriching natural and built environments through architecture, he advocates for finding sustainable design solutions wherever possible, while working closely with consultants on integrating building systems to create high-performance designs. Josh brings a keen sense of detail to projects ranging from landscape to millwork to lighting design.

Josh attended the University of Florida and completed his undergraduate studies in Architecture and Landscape Architecture. He later received his Master of Architecture degree with a Certificate of Ecological Design from the University of Pennsylvania.

When Josh isn’t working, he has a passion for mountain biking, food, and travel, and has studied abroad in such countries as Norway, Bangladesh, and Italy.
