Established at the beginning of the 20th century, Jerome Home is one of the earliest care residences in the state of Connecticut. The new residency is composed of 16 Alzheimer's studio units on the ground floor and 46 assisted living one and two-bedroom units on the upper floors. The completed building was sited to create a revitalized image for the existing 73,000 SF campus. The new administration building provides a new entry identity for the campus while linking the historic structures with the new construction. Care was taken in the brick facade treatment of new buildings to harmonize with the original campus aesthetics.
