This residence is composed of 24 Alzheimer's disease units and 42 assisted living residences. The setting for the new residence is the seaside community of Niantic , Connecticut. The project is located on main street in the downtown area on a small site with close access to both beaches as well as commercial activities. The building is divided into three components: A "main" house on view from the street, the main living room, and the two-story Dementia wing.
