This classic 1720s New England Colonial sits on three wooded acres in Milton, Massachusetts. WGBH Boston, in a first for the series, purchased the structure to renovate it on the popular public television program "This Old House". The completed house was then auctioned off for charity. BFE’s restoration of this 280-year old house allowed for the inclusion of modern services and amenities; small, dark rooms were opened up and expanded to incorporate a large kitchen, laundry room, and media room.
