Malden Mills Company Store

Designed as a showcase for the high quality finished fabrics produced by Malden Mills Industries, this company store occupies space in a nineteenth century mill building, on the company's main campus. The design utilizes the brick and heavy timber construction of the mill building as a backdrop to set off the colorful fabrics used in apparel, upholstery, and home furnishings. A flexible ceiling grid lighting system was added to adapt to the store’s product displays. The building serves as a reminder to all visitors of the deep historical ties between Malden Mills and the vast manufacturing mills of the city of Lawrence.
